The 2018, 15th Annual Hot Chocolate Run is a 5K run through Northampton, Massachusetts. It happens every December and this year it takes place on Sunday, December 2. Participants run a challenging 5K course, enjoy hot chocolate after the race, and help support a very important program, Safe Passage.
Safe Passage is dedicated to creating a world free of domestic violence and relationship abuse. They provide emergency shelter in a confidential location, and community services which include counseling, advocacy, peer support, and legal services. They serve survivors of all genders and their services are free, accessible to people with disabilities, and confidential.
More than 6,300 people have signed up to participate in this year’s Hot Chocolate Run and although the event is sold out, you can still join in supporting the event, the runners, and Safe Passage.
