Amherst College not only has a beautiful campus, it also houses three world-renowned museums. The Beneski Museum of Natual History is one of New England’s largest natural history museums with three floors of exhibits. The Mead Art Museum holds the art collection of Amherst College, featuring paintings, ancient carvings, sculpture, and prints. The Emily Dickinson Museum is comprised of two historic houses, the Homestead, which was the birthplace and home of Emily Dickinson, and The Evergreens, home to her brother, Austin.
